The 16th National Youth Parliament Competition, 2019-2020 for Universities and Colleges was organized by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. Ms. Taruna Bharti, an Assistant Professor from Vidyamandir’s Smt. Savitaben Panalal College of Secondary Education, participated with the team from the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, and secured the first prize. Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Law and Justice, Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, and Minister of State in the Ministry of Culture, presided over the event. He presented 'The Running Shield' and Trophy to the victorious team.
